Apple Pay is DownDear Customer, When processing with Apple Pay, the transaction may show as “Approved” or “Pending” on the customer’s bank account or phone. However, this does NOT mean the transaction was successfully approved through the POS system or credit card terminal. A transaction is only considered approved when the POS system or credit card terminal receives a valid authorization number from the processor. You can also check for current Apple Pay outages or issues here: Apple Pay Status - Downdetector To verify transactions on the POS system: - Go to Manager
- Select Last Transactions
- This will print the last 5 transactions processed in the POS system
If you receive a “Wrong Version” error message: - Go to Manager
- Select Main Screen
- Return back to the POS screen to reload the latest settings
Again, if you do NOT see the transaction on the credit card terminal or in the POS transaction list, the transaction was not processed successfully and you will not receive payment for that transaction. Please contact support if you have any questions. Thank you, PKS POS Support |
